DIETY-LORD RAMA
HISTORY
Although the armies of Tipu Sultan caused damage to a portion of the temple in the 18th century, it is thought that the temple was spared from total ruin. In the eighteenth century, it was one of the outposts of the Thalassery fort. meetings where political treaties and agreements were negotiated between East India Company officials and local leaders within its confines.
FESTIVALS
The temple has a number of festivals all year long, the most notable of which being the yearly Utsavam (festival) held in the Malayalam month of Meenam (March–April). The celebration draws followers from near and far with its vibrant processions, cultural events, and customary practices.

At the Thiruvangadu Sree Rama Swamy Temple, devotees go to ask Lord Rama for blessings related to peace, prosperity, and the accomplishment of their aspirations. The temple is a haven of peace and devotion because of its peaceful surroundings and spiritual atmosphere.
