Sree Datta Anjaneya Temple

Tall sculpture of Sri Anjaneya is located at Sri Datta Anjaneya Temple; Aluva (formerly Alwaye) town comes under Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala.

History

Karyasiddhi Anjaneya temple, as divined by Sri Swamiji, began its construction in 1998. The idol of Anjaneya, made at Sucheendram near Kanyakumari, was brought in a procession with receptions at various temples of Kerala.

It is also known as Sri Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple. He is thus idealised as Karyasidhi Anjaneya, it is believed that people who take 41 days fast and pray to Lord Anjaneya will get their wishes fullfilled .

Diety

The beaming deity with a smiling appearance has got sankh, the couch shell; chakra, the discus; damaru, the small drum; thrissul, the trident; kamandalu, the water vessel; kamadhenu, the divine cow who is capable of fulfilling any wishes of the baktha, and Abhaya Hastha, a hand ready to save, console, and redress. The idol has six eyes and six hands embracing the devotees, and thus stands Sidharaja Dattathreya, the Trinity, taking care of the devotees.
