HISTORY
The temple was built to honor Sree Narayana Guru, a well-known saint, philosopher, and socialite who preached the concept of “One Caste, One Religion, One God for Humanity. “Sree Narayana Guru stressed the values of social equality, spiritual enlightenment, and empowerment of oppressed and underprivileged groups.
FESTIVALS
The temple holds the annual Sivagiri Pilgrimage, which celebrates the Guru’s birthday and brings together thousands of devotees from Kerala and beyond for prayers, cultural activities, and debates about spiritual and social issues. Another festival is Sree Narayana Jayanti its Held on the Guru’s birthday, this celebration features special prayers, talks, and cultural events that promote his teachings.
